You mean a timeout shown on endpoint side just before a Screensaver a.e.? If no, can you provide a screenshot maybe?

Sorry, forever later, I’m using a browser session to get the our netscaler gateway, when the user launches the ICA the workspace app opens appropriately and they work as usualy, seemingly at random the ICA session drops completely, as if it was halted and they see the netscaler login screen waiting for them. the nature of the abrupt disappearing of the workspace app looks the same as when an igel device gets a config change and the session is ejected. considering the firefox browser is the only other thing present its almost is as if it is suddenly refreshing the page

Did you managed to get a closer look on UMS / Endpoint Logs to check if there was a config change (or another error)?

Im the only one managing the UMS/Endpoints, and haven’t made any changes

Only the logs can tell us what happened, it doesn‘t need to be a config change.

UMS=>Help=>Save Device Files for Support and Save support information if you want to have a look by yourself

So I read the events as follows

Screen Saver

wfica crash

wfica relauch via browser

was the screen saver ended at 9:32:49 or was that when it finished starting the screensaver

Can you export one Endpoint setting? Context menu=>Export device settings and post it?

Ok, had an idea, but wasn‘t confirmed. Thank you. Would suggest to open a ticket in that case, please.

k

In the mean time, what setting could I use to disable that screen lock log item

another client who had the same thing had this log item at each time it was reported to happen

[ 688.931] (DB) IGEL-SCREEN-LOCK: Window [layer=1] locked

[ 689.942] (DB) IGEL-SCREEN-LOCK: Window [layer=1] destroyed

however they were working at the time according to them

User Interface=>Screenlock=>Options=>Disable the checkbox Start automatically.

Please test, but I‘m not convinced that it is the cause of the issue, but I keep my fingers crossed.

Im not either since the user is active at the time it happens, however its work a shot to see if it counters whatever the behavior is happening at the moment

fyi, that changed halted the issue

Ok, good to know but a bit strange… 👍 Please keep us in the loop if our devs find the root cause🙏

Also, we had a random group of folks who would have audio issues. Where reliably when they would make a call on their soft phone the microphone input would break, this seemed to solve that too. My initial guess is hardware (udc3 on ancient dell optiplex’s) that was causing the odd signaling

Ok I lied

same behavior

random sign out

Ok, @member then please open a ticket, I think that‘s the better way to get it clarified…
