Hi All,
I get random short freezes on our IGEL mobile clients (OS FW 11.04.245).
I can see that also a permanent ping test to a webserver will freeze for few seconds. This happens approx. one time an hour.
In the logs I can see this messages…..

I can’t say if this also happens on an older firmware or if I connected via wired network.
Hi Eric, which kind of devices are concerned and does the device completely go irresponsive or the Session?
There is a USB Headset, USB Mouse/Keyboard Receiver, 2x Displays connected.
I thin only the session will be irresponsive because I could minimize the session window and saw that the ping will not coninued for a short time.
What it is: “Nicht unterstützte Hilfstaste »<Control><Super>d«”
I can see this message to the same time when the issue occured.
Should be
STRG SHIFT d
is there such a hotkey maybe pressed by a user?
Is the device roaming between Wifi cells?
It’s the device which is used by me at the moment. I didn’t press this combination.
If I do, I can’t see any actions but the message appears again in the logs…

The device should also not roam because there is only one configured wlan.
The freezes seems to be disappeared after rebooting and don’t do any permanent pings.

The distance between my wifi notebook and repeater is only few meters in the same room. I don’t have these issue with exactly the same hardware on windows 10.
Sometimes it works for multiple hours, sometimes it will be short disconnect and connect again multiple times.
I can see that it will switch between 5GHz and 2,5Ghz.
I can see a speed of 866 MBit/s in 5GHz and 144 Mbit/s in 2.5GHz network. My repeater will doing both channels.
Can you limit the Device to one Range, 2,4Ghz preferred?
Thanks, I will check. But wouldn’t want to do this for all our clients at the end. But it’s very annoying when the igel do these switches multiples times a day and your remote session will freeze for few seconds.
