when setting up horizon configuration like the domain, connection server etc. Where is the information stored on the client?
Using 11.08.290.
Okay I think I found it under /etc/vmware/view-mandatory-config or view-default-config

this is correct from my understanding ☺️
Well it’s more your “etc.” which is in /etc/vmware/. Connection server and domain are coming from the settings directly when the session is started.
Also there are settings in /userhome/.vmare/
But ultimately the configs in /etc/vmware are also generated from the tc settings on boot up or when changes are made.
