Good morning from Germany,
yesterday I tested the new IGEL OS 11.08.440 firmware with Citrix Workspace App 2307 for linux. But I have now an issue with the mouse cursor.
A new registry parameter under ica.wfclient.cursor32bitsupport is enabled by default. But this default option leads obviously to an invisible mouse cursor in our Citrix session (Windows 10 22H2 with Citrix VDA 2305.1).
Disabling this parameter brings the mouse cursor back to visibility.
What is this „Enhancement on 32-Bit cursor support“ for and why it makes the cursor invisible?
Have a nice weekend!
Thomas
Good morning from Mainz!! Let me ask our PM, I will come back to you.
Somewhere arround here I read that the mouse cursor issue (that has been arround for a couple of versions now) will be fixed in Linux CWA 2308. @member Do you know more ?:-)
This would amazing!! No, I didn‘t but good to hear. I will ask too!
Hello Michael,
this is interesting.
Do you mean this fixes bug (screenshot with the blue background)?
Thomas
Feedback I got back:
This is a Citrix feature (Tech preview with 2305) But there were probably problems with 2307, since the following fix comes with 2308 (EAR) The white cursor isn’t clearly displayed on a dark blue or black background. This issue occurs in Citrix Workspace app for Linux version 2307
