Hey folks. I was wondering if anyone had experience with changing the properties of their IGEL devices based on their context. For example, I want to find a way to present something different on the desktop if the device is remote (ICG) or it is on the internal network. I figure that might be done with template keys or custom scripting that would detect the context then set the registry based on that context. Thank you for the help.
Can’t you just use different OUs?
We have a lot of hybrid users, so their context changes from day to day.
Ah then I’m not your guy.
If you check out this thread, it could be one approach for you. Basically move device to different directory (with directory rules) based on devices “ICG-connected” state.
And now the thread! 😉
