Hello All,
Has anyone used an SQL command in the embedded database to change static IPs on the Thin Clients successfully?
Why?
Hello Michelle, echoing Ron, could you describe the usecase?
I currently have my thin clients set to .168 and .169 static IPs. We need to free up some IPs so I am being asked to move my thin clients to .161 and .162.
I know this can be done manually, but I have over 4900 devices and am not really interested in that approach. 🙂
Hi Michelle, why not using the CSV Import to change this info? kb.igel.com/endpointmgmt-12.02/en/importing-devices-90236073.html There exporting a view with all devices you want to change, and Directories. Adapt it to match the CSV format, bulk change IPs and reimport.
Or use PSIgel and IMI: github.com/IGEL-Community/PSIGEL/blob/master/Docs/Reference/Update-UMSDevice.md
