After update IGEL ICG is offlone, IGEL OS clients can’t connect – ERROR ICGTCS0


I think I need some help…

I just prepared for the ICG update and made a reboot of the vm. Now ICG is offline (both UMS and clients tell me that). 😰I have no idea why… usg.log shows a lot of exceptions and an Error Code “ICGTCS0”. How can I debug ICG? First lines are the following…

Hi Daniel, if this is production, I’d recommend opening a support ticket. Don’t mess around with things here 🙂 IF not, let’s continue! 🙂


First thing I would probably do is run df -h and check to see if any partitions are full. And what Mike said, open a support ticket 🙂


It was worth a try;-) df -h is alright. But as it is 6pm I will probably look for a backup of the vm.


Which ICG version are you upgrading from, and to which version are you upgrading to?


I am on 2.01.110. The update didn’t happen because I killed my vm. I’m restoring from a backup now and start over 🙂

If bad things happen I try to understand them. But if this means to open a ticket, this takes too long and I go for a backup.
