I have a customer that can’t scan for new devices because the radar icon is grayed out. The customer logs in with AD user account. If we log in with the built-in UMS admin account, the radar icon shows up. Looks like a permission issue but I’m not able to find it. Suggestions?
We might want to look at the permissions for the customer’s account. When logged in as UMS Admin, go to System > Administrator Accounts > Select the account in question > Check the ‘Effective Rights’. If you see the ‘Scan for devices’ is disabled, you can ‘Edit’ permissions.
