Cloned ICG server receiving error “Already found user with process id xxx for Gateway with id xxx”

When I connected the clone ICG to the UMS I was given an error.

“Already found user with process id xxx for Gateway with id xxx”

The original ICG was replaced with the clone. So I wanted to bring back the orignal ICG but now it is not able to connect. It shows as disconnected still.

Also, what will happen to the 3,000 devices that was connected to this server?

You’ll want to completely remove the ICG and re-add it. The devices will simply reconnect back at next check-in or reboot. Just to be clear – you want to get the original back working and get rid of the clone you had for testing?

Each time you install ICG it generates a unique process ID. So if you cloned after install it likely tried to use the same ID which can lead to things not working correctly.
