I think fortinet vpn is on the community app store.

Do you know anyone that has the installers?

That should have everything you need.

Can’t install it this way… The tar bz2 file is only 750 kilobits in size. Any thoughts?

You have to supply the third party binaries by yourself.

The CPs provided there are „templates“ without proprietary content. That means, we took existing CPs (incl. Profile, Init script, folder structure, archive) BUT removed everything that is coming from other vendors.

In your case, that means that you need to put the content into the tar.bz2 like on Page:

kb.igel.com/igelos-11.03.500/en/unpacking-the-ubuntu-package-30200691.html kb.igel.com/igelos-11.03.500/en/unpacking-the-ubuntu-package-30200691.html

In the meantime, until we have a Video:

yes, you need to pack the dependencies too:

compression:

Dear thanks for clarification. I’m not very familair with anything in nix. I can download the tar.gz nix client for x64 or 32bit. What should I pick? I think I’ll be good with 32bit? Do I just have to convert to BZ2? I’m talking for this package for example: 2bbdb048-a-be096ddb-s-sites.googlegroups.com/a/my-network.co.il/apps/apps-learning-center/files/fortigate-ssl-vpn/forticlientsslvpn_linux_4.4.2287.tar.gz?attachauth=ANoY7cqan6ipjvRcV-ia8F7BJSLeAiPql0gjzazw-xNxweJBtmTHivAknvTg1PST7IwmjAXQhouxdV20TAFyx_I4jxHpo3ueEHDpK_forU6dzG_ROXXUklGf5-7kt2eiQQh6N20Plhhy7aMbs2ROQ0rFQiwsUrH07oaIXwE6HKRweNbsCHPdRm329LyEa-gZpIAErWk-U1Yr_-hoKYtrRRR-aACwXiXzD6qI8yIXn7OPlBVYnfS_9nIyU7IKiKqUpE4-fJRXRN8edbCa8c0rEickNQk-TS07r-bY-QunFa4mZYDYy21gQc4CDSuMLuDpDFjepZ-o9Z6V&attredirects=0&d=1

Sorry for asking this dumb questions 😉

You could open a support ticket with IGEL and ask them for the complete CP.

Will they do this for a third party supplied CP?

Nice if they will do it, but I’m little bit confused 😉

Yes, they can do it.

Many thanks, ticket is open

I’m curious 😉

If I ask this on another vendor, they just answer: third party extensions not supported 😉

@member no dumb questions here! If you are not familiar with Linux, Marius is right.

If you want to play around: x64 is needed, we don’t support x86 applications anymore (mostly).

@member @member Tnx for helping me with the forticlient deploy. I’ve openened a support ticket with iGel, they provided me the binaries and a step by step manual. I’ve implemented it already and seems to work like a charm! Tnx for pointing me in this direction, mid next week we’ll migrate the first users. Tnx, nice/friendly community! Keep up the good work! Pieter
