How I can remove/add Hardware from a Licence?
I might be wrong but isn‘t this pack expired?
Yes it is expired. Better said, how can I move the Hardware to another Pack?
So, you already have a Newer Maintenance for WE or Subscription for EMP, and you want to actualize the license on device?
Are you using the ALD Token?
Yes I have newer WE Product with ALD Token.
Move this 40 to the other.
Or can I remove the Licence from the Device and add the new one manually?
I was writing something similar:
1) register your pack in UMS
2) deactivate the old pack (or remove it from UMS Licensing
3) delete the outdated license from a profile like these:
You can delete them via a profile directly after Registration: Final Network command:
mount -o remount,rw /license; find . | grep -iRl “.*lic” /license/dsa/licenses/ | xargs -I {} rm -rf {}; mount -o remount,ro /license
Just remove the profile after the reboot, then the device should be clean.
