How to check if NTP Time Synchronization works on IGEL OS


Hi Dear IGEL Community, I have a question. How can I check NTP (Server) with Linux Command in IGEL; If NTP Server is working fine (sync). I’ve tried with cmd “timedatectl” but I would like to see more in detail the NTP configuration. Thank in advanced! Marcelo

Hi dear Marcelo!! It seems like the Time Configuration is hold by a Service called igel-timezone-config

which calls /config/bin/timezone_config

This script does indeed a timedatectl command which is based on a zone file under : /usr/share/zoneinfo/
