Hi, is there an out-of-the-box possibility in IGEL OS to get/monitor hardware information like e.g. temperatures, or fan speeds? (Like “lm-sensors” in Ubuntu) Thanks in advance!

How about Conky?

Thanks for your answer, Ron 🙂 Displaying the results on the local screen is not required, we need to query the information and either send a message (mail, SNMP Trap,..) from the IGEL in case of reaching a defined threshold, or collecting the information on a central point (like lm-sensors with net-snmp).
To my knowlegde ControlUp and eG Enterprise cannot monitor HW details.
Okay, so Conky is able to pull this information… via –> Temperature $alignr ${acpitemp}°C
conky.sourceforge.net/variables.html
I’ll take a look! Thanks!
