How to pass credentials from an identity provider to the Horizon Client on OS 12?

Has anyone had any luck with passing credentials from an identity provider to the Horizon Client on OS 12? It seems that Chromium doesn’t want to pass the credentials through from Okta using a similar configuration to the one that we used on OS 11 (on OS 11 we were using Firefox instead of Chromium).

Have you tried configuring SSO for OS 12 as a whole, instead of using Chromium?

I know there are some issues with passthrough authentication on Citrix / VMWare, but I am not sure if that affects the SSO components or not.

Yes we worked with our identity team to add IGEL to Okta. We are able to authenticate to the device with Okta but Horizon still prompts for authentication by launching an Okta browser window with passthrough authentication enabled. Once we have authenticated a second time, we get this popup window. When you choose “Open” nothing happens.

I was thinking it could be related to Apparmor as we had to disable this on our OS 11 devices when we got stuck here before, but disabling apparmor does not seem to resolve the issue.

With Okta as IdP only Web apps, device login and screenlock support SSO. kb.igel.com/howtocosmos/en/configuring-single-sign-on-sso-77865982.html kb.igel.com/howtocosmos/en/configuring-single-sign-on-sso-77865982.html

Yeah I had doubts it would work with passthrough since the Horizon Client isn’t listed as supported, but I had hoped that it would qualify as a webapp since the authentication takes place through the native web browser. It would be nice, but my main priority at the moment is getting it to function properly without authentication passthrough like it does on OS 11.
