Can someone, please, tell me how to use scripts on iGels I’m new to configuring them and maybe missing the obvious. Generally, I just manage everything with profiles. The closest I’ve got to a script is policies in chromium.
Depending on what your scope is, a good start is

and

Thanks so much!
The most settings in the Chromium browser for example policies can also be done with IGEL profile.
Thank you that’s how I went about it but until I was able to join this community I was struggling to access the custom commands.
I didn’t mean the Custom Commands, but the session settings in the IGEL profile. There you can easily make the basic settings of the browser and also set policies and flags.
For scripting it depends on what you want to do. Custom commands change some settings directly on the IGEL device but most I do not use anymore because newer versions of UMS have that function now integrated.
Ich do some automatiion using Powershell and Falk Heilands PSIGEL module with the UMS Api (see my post in this channel vom June 22nd for example) or to import some information from our Asset management tool like inventory nummer etc.
