How will I be able to find logs for failed attempts to register to the UMS server? Its quite vague having a message that simply states that the device failed to register with UMS.
Never mind I worked out that igelums SQL user did not have a correct security privileges to allow the registration of new devices.
kb.igel.com/endpointmgmt-6.02/en/microsoft-sql-server-16458051.html this KB article provides an SQL query for creating a new user, schema, etc. but does not appear to grant the correct privileges.
For best practice, should I provide the igelums schema with db_owner or just the user?

dbo would be easier, in order to get rid of a small amout of right issues.
Hi Seb 👋 Would this be applied to the Schema or the user?
I’m just trying to work out best practice 🙂
Hi Anthony! To the user, sorry to forgot that!
No probs. We are having the same issue with registering devices to UMS via ICG again. But this time igelUMS is a dbo. Is there anywhere where I would be able to grab logs to help us figure out why registration keeps failing?
