Hi everyone. I am trying to place a PDF file on the desktops of my IGELs. I can do so by using File UMS->Device and specifying “/userhome/Desktop” in the Device File Location. However, the file does not survive a reboot. I’m assuming there is a way to accomplish this with a Custom Application. Any ideas?
/wfs is the persistent directory you’re looking for – you could then create a “shortcut” to that file via a custom app
evince /wfs/file.pdf
Awesome! Thanks, Josh! I’m trying to customize the Desktop icon now, but it’s not taking affect. My icon is also in the /wfs directory, and I’ve tried .ico, .png and .jpg format. The icon path is defined in the profile as /wfs/help.png . What am I missing here?
Changing the image ratio did the trick for my icon. Thanks again!
