The Thin-Client is supposed to shut-down after ending the Citrix session but it simply closes the window und doesn’t do anything. Works with 11.03.612.

Hello Julian, from another customer I noticed that too. Could you check if this workaround works on your side?

pnlogoff -f; killall -9 wfica; user_shutdown

*

-> system -> firmware customization -> custom commands -> post session

What about this? It’s with the 10sec shutdown dialog, but that can be disabled in System/Power Options/System: “Without dialog” and Countdown set to 0.

Actually the 10 sec countdown stays with my config 🙂

Sadly that doesn’t help.

Which one, both?

Both. (The only difference is not including “killall -9 wfica, right?)

I used the 11.04.264 on my endpoint. connected to Citrix, opened a published app / desktop. closed it and got the shutdown countdown.

same with 11.04.270

Strange. Whenever I log off the citrix window just closes and I’m still logged in to the receiver. No shut down.

you’re using the citrix login on the desktop or via Browser?

On the Desktop

the profiles “Based on” are set to the firmware used?

perhaps try to reset the device and include again.

The profile was based on 11.04.270 instead of 11.04.240. I changed that and reset the client. Sadly none of that helped.

I have had this issue with every version of 11.04.x I have used. For me it seems totally random. It doesn’t happen every time, but does more times than not. Now, I am not shutting down, but rather logging off, but seems like the same issue. It’s like the endpoint doesn’t receive anything from ica that the session has ended (either logged off or disconnected). I can’t recall 100%, but I don’t believe it matters whether I am connected through Citrix Gateway or not.

Please make sure with 11.04.270 you have UMS 6.06.110

I had a similar case today but there was another profile with another based on version which also had a post session command on it. We removed the another one and it works again.

We are using 6.06.100. Is there a relevant difference between 6.06.100 and 6.06.110?

Yes. a lot of bug fixing but to your problem: please use 11.04.264

Ok, I’ll try that out next week.

@member You are right. 11.05.100 also fixes the issue.
