Hi, is it correct that all printers connected via IGEL devices to a Citrix TS are getting the “HP Color LaserJet 2800 Series PS” driver?

We have got a users printer (Brother HL-L2360DN) thats not working with this driver. Is it possible to use the Citrix Universal Printer Driver?

The Citrix Universal Printer Driver is working perfectly for all windows devices on the same TS.

no, the printer just needs to be installed, choosing the Citrix Universal works fine on my end.


I had an issue like this on IGEL awhile back. What I did was install the driver for the printer directly onto the Citrix server. It fixed it so I can use RAW for printing again.


Sadly we really dont want to install printer-specific drivers. We dont want to bloat the whole Citrix Server if its just used by one user.

Thats why we want to use Universal Drivers


You need at least one PS Driver, then you are good.


The “HP Color LaserJet 2800 Series PS” is installed. But the borther printer seems to be incompatible with it
