Is there anyway to stream video to a igel client without being a webbrowser? Like you can in VLC?
Yes, sure! You could use the builtin Media Player under Sessions=>Media Player and then use a URL or similar for playback:
kb.igel.com/igelos-11.02.100/en/playback-23516000.html
Assuming you have OS10 with MMCP or OS11.
Didnt work it wont open a .sdp file. It works with vlc.
Did you checked if this sdp stream works fine on gnome/totem player?
Won’t work but works with VLC player. Is there a way to put VLC player on the igel?
Yes, you could ask for a Custom Partition at our support, there is a VLC one.
