hi All, I’m working on setting up a PoC with OS 12 and UMS 12. I have UMS 12 configured and I have a device with a starter license onboarded into the UMS. On the end point I am unable to to install any apps from App Portal due to licensing error. Also in the web console for UMS 12 I am unable to configure any profiles that deal with anything other than base OS. I’m probably missing something obvious that I overlooked in the training class. Suggestions welcome. Thank you.
You need to register the UMS in the IGEL Cloud Service in order to use the App Portal on a managed device, see kb.igel.com/howtocosmos/en/registering-the-ums-77865744.html kb.igel.com/howtocosmos/en/registering-the-ums-77865744.html
