Receive error: “The firmware xxx is not compatible to the actual firmware of the device xxx” when trying to upgrade

Hi,

when we want update to v10 (different versions) we get the message “The firmware xxx is not compatible to the actual firmware of the device xxx” – tried with v5.11, v5.12, v5.13. Can you please help me with this? Device is UD3-LX41.

Basic requirements for IGEL Linux 10

CPU with 64 bit support

2 GB RAM

2 GB Flash

UD3-LX41 has probably only 1 GB RAM

Out of curiosity, do you plan on using these UD3-LX41 devices in a dual screen extended desktop setup?

If so I would not update. There are no proper 64bit display drivers for the VIA cpu in those devices (none exist from VIA), so if you update you will be limited to a single screen/ mirrored setup.

Thanks for help. Devices have 2GB, but we need indeed two monitors 🤪so thanks for that! Problem isn’t solved so far, but we can’t update cause of the monitors….

Thanks again!
