UMS Agent Error: failed to register the device at the UMS during registration


I just upgraded my devices to 11.08.330 and it is giving me an error stating UMS Agent Error: failed to register the device at the UMS. Nothing changed on teh backend. Has anyone seen this issue?

Are you running NTP time service on all devices (OS, UMS).


Yes, defined in the config file


So in your testing of 11.08.330 before rolling out to production … It all worked… But now all production devices are getting this error?

And you confirmed on one of the devices that the time is correct.


I was also receiving an error where is was unable to connect to the Citrix Store.

For that location, I downgraded the FW to 11.08.290.01 and issue went away

However after a reboot, I am now receiving an Unacceptable TLS Certificate

Any thoughts?


I would open a ticket with IGEL support to get best assistance .
