Good day,
I just downloaded the newest 11.08.x release to our UMS and tried to create a profile containig the settings for the current Zoom VDI plugin. Unfortunately when creating the profile, under “based on” I only see the option to create profiles for 11.05.x or older
Do I need to update the whole UMS (running on 6.06.110) , or is there another way to push the settings of the new firmwares into the UMS database?
You need to either install one device with this OS or import firmware
so like as a zip download from the website, instead via the integrated “search for new firmware” function?
github.com/IGEL-Community/IGEL-Custom-Partitions/tree/master/firmwares github.com/IGEL-Community/IGEL-Custom-Partitions/tree/master/firmwares
Not sure if thats the right place. The zip files are only 2MB and contain only an XML.
Downloaded the 11.08.330 from www.igel.de/software-downloads/workspace-edition/ and successfully uploaded to UMS. Afterwards still the same issue though when creating a profile
You need to either install one device to be able to work with a profile for 11.08.330 `OR` import profile firmware from this link
github.com/IGEL-Community/IGEL-Custom-Partitions/tree/master/firmwares
I got that. Maybe I am using the wrong import function? I download the linked zip file from your source, then in the UMS I am right-clicking “Universal Firmware Update” -> firmware archive (ZIP) and upload the zip there
Or do I need to import this as a profile
`System > Import… > Import Firmwares`
ah sorry
export the zip ….
thanks 🙂
