Afternoon, has anyone come across the issue of wifi adapters diabling ( disappearing ) from the device and a policy change ( non network related ) , many thanks

Did this happen after a firmware upgrade? What firmware are you on now?
Just in case @member could you check if a Profile is having the checkbox Overwrite Sessions activated?
And if only Wifi is concerned, and 11.03.*** I would look into the backport driver:
System,Registry,Network,drivers.use_backport_driver to False
on firmware 11.03.530, did the same on 500 also , checked the overwrite sessions, none are checked.
i get them enabled and working , after a reboot they disappear, very odd
Can you try resetting to firmware defaults and see if the behaviour is the same?
and please check: And if only Wifi is concerned, and 11.03.*** I would look into the backport driver:
System,Registry,Network,drivers.use_backport_driver to False
