Hello, we are currently having issues with the sensitivity of our touchpad. We already used the script from @member but some functions of the touchpad remain active which causes some problems for our users. The buttons keep working.
When we configure to use a hotkey to disable the touchpad (ctrl +shift + t) the entire touchpad is disabled. We would like to combine this function with the script of @member. For this to work we need to know which command is being executed when we use the hotkeys.
Does anyone know this command or how we could detect it?
With kind regards
Hello Glenn, are you refering to this thread igelcommunity.slack.com/archives/C8GP9JHQE/p1558533622117900
?
Yes indeed. We have managed to recreate the key press with “xdotool key ctrl+shift+t” and changed the code to :
SUBSYSTEM==”input”, KERNEL==”mouse[0-9]”, ACTION==”add”, ENV{DISPLAY}=”:0″, ENV{XAUTHORITY}=”/userhome/.Xauthority”, RUN+=”xdotool key ctrl+shift+t”
SUBSYSTEM==”input”, KERNEL==”mouse[0-9]”, ACTION==”remove”, ENV{DISPLAY}=”:0″, ENV{XAUTHORITY}=”/userhome/.Xauthority”, RUN+=”xdotool key ctrl+shift+t”
