Using AD Logon, can the domain credentials be passed to the browser? Ex. going to a site that uses ADFS and then it prompts for the username and password.
From what I recall, no, but will double check to see if I‘m missing something!
I have that same requirement, and as of a few weeks ago it still doesn’t work for us when we try to pass them to our local intranet site
We use the network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris preference from within firefox to do this on our standard windows boxes, and from within Citrix, but iGel OS does not honor that string even though it sees it and reads it
That functionality would be very helpful!
Agreed. I’ve talked with several SE’s who agree with me, and scratch their head as to why the iGel Firefox is ignoring it

We are able to pass our login credentials into a Firefox session on the Igels. Here are the settings we set in the Sessions > Browser > Browser Global > Advanced > Custom Preferences. The value for each of the three obfuscated fields are in <fqdn> format. i.e. kb.igel.com.
Hi @member Interesting, I’ve tried that with our internal sites, but since we don’t have a .com, .edu, .biz, etc afterwards it seems to ignore everything ( internalsite or internalsite ) , however it works just fine on standard windows based versions of Firefox
It took awhile to figure out which combination of settings needed set to make it work, but I think the one above is what ended up working. We ended up not needing it anyway though. I can try it without the FQDN tomorrow to see if it works that way too or not.
Can’t seem to get it to work for ADFS. We might not use AD login anyway. Was just testing out scenerios.
One other piece to this then, is it possible for the IGEL OS to cache the AD credentials so if it goes off network, it can still be logged in to?
I didn’t get a chance to test it without using a FQDN today, I’ll try it on Monday. It looks like there is another parameter for allowing non-FQDN names, have you tried it?

I finally got another chance to take a look at this, and I’m still not able to get it to work. Here are a couple of screen caps of the prefs. When I do an about:config in the firefox browser I see all of the configs there, so it is a bit baffling to be honest
Thanks! Do you maybe have the chance to setup a Box with a standard Ubuntu/Firefox and check if it works there? I would but I‘m not in the office until wednesday next week.
